Fáilte Ireland funded Courses

Fáilte Ireland is the National Tourism Development Authority responsible for supporting the development of the Irish Tourism Industry. It has a number of important roles with one such role being to support the provision of a qualified workforce for the Tourism and Hospitality industry.

Over the past 20 years or so, Fáilte Ireland (or Cert as it was formerly known ) has been responsible for the development of many successful Tourism and Hospitality courses which are currently being delivered in colleges around Ireland today. Through these courses, thousands of workers and managers have been trained for the purposes of working in the Irish Tourism and Hospitality Industry working closely with educational providers such as the Institutes of technology around Ireland and most recently began working with Colleges of Further Education.

Protecting craft based training (Chefs / Bar and Restaurant Skills etc) is of paramount importance in order to ensure the delivery of a quality and consistent product and service offering to both domestic and international tourists when they eat out in restaurants, visit our hotels and pubs in Ireland.
