Work Experience
Work experience in a tourism operation is an optional part of the programme, allowing students the opportunity to observe tourism professionals in the workplace. Inputs from industry practitioners are a recommended feature of the programme.
As a guideline for those school students working part-time or on their holidays in the Irish tourism industry. The Code of Practice below explains the standards that employees should live up to, and the treatment that they are entitled to expect from their employers.
