Thanks to all of you who visited our stand at the BT Young Scientist Competition - we hope you enjoyed our experiments! A great time was had by all at the exhibition.
JJ, our trained chef, demonstrated the science of cookery during the 3 days - the most popular the science of ice cream. Using crème anglaise and liquid nitrogen, he made instant ice cream - yum! JJ also cleared up the mystery behind the sensory gland, explaining how the brain, tongue and sense of smell all add to the way we taste our food, using blind taste tests with prizes.
